Joining up

An easy day with no rush. I wonder if I will ever be rushed again? Is that a good thought or not?

Breakfast at Bacharach was busier today with more hotel guests around-mostly foreigners. Mine host is not the friendliest and with language issues there was plenty of scope for misunderstandings. Only real objective today was to get back to Wiesbaden and join up with the group. Being a Saturday then trains are a little less available but just went with the flow and out of the system before 1200. I was the last of the group to turn up and we wandered from the hotel down to the Rhine river to find a place for a catch up yarn and a bit of lunch.

We are all fit enough it seems. Today is a lot warmer so there are plenty out and about as we sat outside enjoying the day and watching an endless old time car rally pass through the place. Quite few of my group seemed to know almost every car in detail. I was ok with most brands but lacked detail as usual. Must be a thing with some boomers and we wondered whether the present day young see these old cars the same way. Think I am the only Green voter in the group as the inevitable grrr! Labor topic came up.
