Prior to joining up with other members of the Middle Aged Walking Club, Randall will spend a couple of days in Bacharach, Germany. This well known village is on the other side of the Rhine River to that where the group will walk. So the couple of days there will not only be a chance to recover from any jet lag but will also give me a bit more time to see places that we will pass on the walk. The total walk is just 160 kms over 8 walking days.
